Lakme India Fashion Week 2002: SUNSILK "Styles of the Silver Screen"


Lakme India Fashion Week 2002 in association with Sunsilk was held at the Taj Palace, New Delhi, from August 2 - 8, 2002. To support local brand experts Jawed Habib & Samantha Kochhar 70 sourced and negotiated International hair expert Joseph Neeko. Sunsilk created a splash at the India Fashion Week 2002 with a gamut of activities.

The Celebrity look of the Day had Neeko cut & style for celebrities Anamika Khanna, Rina Dhaka, Manpreet Brar, Shivani Wazir, Shalu Jindal, Malini Ramani and Shamita Singha;

Workshops on Bridal Hair, Short Hair & International Trends and popular Styles hosted by the experts for Salon professionals;

The Hair Show titled "Sunsilk Styles of the Silver Screen". Top Indian models including Jesse Randhawa, Aditi Gowitrikar, Viveka Babajee, Nethra Raguraman, Tapur Chatterjee, Diandra Soares walked the ramp sporting hairdos from the eras of the 60's to the year 2000. The show culminated in a grand finale sequence with hair created by International Celebrity Hairstylist 'Neeko' who presented his version of the 'Futuristic Look'. Compered by the witty host Sajid Khan with outfits designed by Bollywood designer Neeta Lulla and choreographed by Achla Sachdev. Sunsilk generated extensive televised & press coverage from the activities conducted.
