SHAHRUKH KHAN Live at Cochin

A fitting commencement to the Grand Kerala Festival was the star studded Shahrukh Khan Live Show. Pulling together the glamour, talent and charisma of Shah Rukh Khan, Raveena, Juhi Chawla and Pooja Batra, the theme of the show revolved around the Elements of nature. Lisa Ray was the MC. Besides a host of supporting artistes were popular playback singers, Jaspinder Narula, Sukhwinder Singh and Sneha Pant. Equipped with a multi-level 60' x 40' stage, 6 AV screens and an 8-foot hydraulic scissor lift in the center of the stage, each set was unique to reflect the Elements theme. The backdrop was created using screen cloth and thermocol cut-outs. Illuminating the stage were 300 par cans, and intelligent lighting - scanners, moving heads and pyro-techniques.

IFA 2001 was held on December 12, 2001 at the Renaissance, Mumbai to felicitate achievers in the Business of Fashion. The IFA awards this year were awarded to acknowledge excellence in 16 categories in the industry. IFA 2001, hosted by Kabir Bedi, was an exclusive business convention with attendance from the head honchos of the business of fashion world. The award ceremony was interspersed with 2 live performances by the Darren Das Dance Troupe & 4 Fashion Shows. Top models like Inder Sudan, Yana Gupta, Shamita Singha, showcased ranges from the top retail apparel brands in the country Park Avenue, Parx, TNG, Wills Sport, Crocodile, Newman, Louis Phillip, Pepe, Oobe, Creative Line, Westwood & Provogue. A special fashion show for the kiddy brand Gini & Jony was choreographed with 10 kids walking the ramp. IFA 2001 was telecast on the B4U movie channel.
